The pandemic has made it clear that remote working-- at least in part-- is here to stay. Whether it’s from home, a far off beach locale or a nearby destination in the countryside, many of us now have the flexibility to do our jobs from anywhere and include some fun along the way. We call this trend the Workcation-- essentially an escape that combines work and play. Imagine surfing before breakfast, for example, plugging away at your computer all day and hitting a buzzy local restaurant for dinner. Or maybe your Workcation allows you to indulge your love of skiing-- getting in a run or two in the afternoon in between Zoom calls and your company’s virtual happy hour.
Many hotels around the world offer attractive remote working packages to make it easier for their guests to have a productive Workcation that they’ll want to repeat again. The Roundtree is no exception: our Workcation package is designed to renew your energy and help you get away without taking a day off. It includes a standing desk or regular desk upon request, on-demand workday survival gear like a charger and Bluelight glasses, laundry, a welcome glass of champagne and Netflix streaming. But we can't leave out the food because we all know that we need to refuel when we're on the job. We'll revive you with a midday snack of tea, coffee, hot chocolate bombs and warm cookies and evening s'mores and popcorn.
Now the question is: what kind of Workcation do you plan to take?
